Creative Kids Tales

Back in May I sent my manuscript “Roscoe Feels Sick” into Creative Kids Tales (www.creativekidstales.com.au), a fantastic website featuring children’s stories by emerging authors as well as interviews with published authors such as Mem Fox, Sue Whiting and Andy Griffiths.

I was very excited to receive an email saying that my story would be displayed on their website (under the Authors section – Emerging Authors) for the month of June. You’re only able to submit 500 words so unfortunately, the last few sentences of “Roscoe Feels Sick” are missing!

The website also has tips on writing and being published, writing competitions and links to upcoming events, publishers that are accepting unsolicited manuscripts and other informative websites.

If you have a completed manuscript, email it into Creative Kids Tales and they might display it on their website. You never know where that may lead…

    • Thanks. You should send in one of your stories! Check out their competition section too as there were quite a few picture book competitions listed on the site. Two of them have finished but there’s still one open until 16th July. It’s through Kids Book Review.
