Make your own peanut paste

Earlier this year my husband purchased a High Performance Commercial Blender in order to make fresh juices using carrots, celery, apples etc. I originally thought, “not another gadget/gizmo that’s going to take up room sitting on the bench collecting dust.” But, he has proven me wrong!

Not only has he made delicious juices, but the other day he made a chocolate slushie drink, vegetable soup and peanut paste!

All he did was throw in a couple of handfuls of peanuts, some cashews and macadamia nuts, hit the switch and Voila! Peanut paste. So easy. And it’s really yummy too.

We bottled it up and popped it in the fridge.  Since then we’ve  made another batch but that’s all gone too.  Looks like it’s time to make some more.

The only hard part is scraping all the peanut paste off the blades afterwards.
