My husband recently came across a book called “That’s Dangerous” by Pittau & Gervais. It’s a quirky little book with hilarious illustrations about lessons in social no-nos. For example… Driving your dad’s car… That’s dangerous! Juggling with knives… That’s dangerous! and our all time favourite… Doing a somersault out the window… That’s dangerous!
Even though the book is set out in a humorous way, my two girls, aged 3 and 7 understood that the actions being portrayed
in the book are, in fact,
DANGEROUS! They have even made up their own statements about things that are dangerous.
As well as ordering “That’s Dangerous!”, my husband couldn’t help himself and ordered “That’s Disgusting!” (insert lots of icky, sticky and gross things that kids love) and “That’s Mean!” Very entertaining and fun books.
